Hi Everyone,

I hope you have had the chance to spend some time with our new website and have become more comfortable navigating it.  Thank you for emailing your suggestions to me.  As I've previously stated, this website is for our membership as well as fans, so let me know what you'd like to see.

There are a few suggestions that have come from multiple people and I would like to take the time to address them in this email.

1.     Rankings:  We are currently working on a system that would rank every boxer aged 8 and older.  However, the system is extremely new and because most of the USOC staff is over in Beijing, talks have been halted.  They will commence sometime in September.

2.      Local Events:  Many of you have expressed an interest in a local events page that would advertise events in your area.  I think this is a great idea and am currently trying to figure out a way that will allow you to view this information easily and efficiently.  As soon as I set up the page, I will send out an email asking for local event listings.

3.      Paperwork:  Our paperwork is currently going through its yearly editing process.  This includes the rule book, insurance forms, etc.  As soon as the final copies are released, I will post them on the site in PDF format. 

I hope this gives you more information regarding the current status of our site.  I'd just like to remind everyone that it is still in the development stage, meaning there are still kinks to work out.
